taking-tt-serious-after-28-years-of-break-lol
Hi from Germany, just became a member. Started TT again after playing as a Teenager from 14-16 at a very good club, they played in the 1st Bundesliga and yes i was dumb to stop haha. Waldner and Persson were playing at my club at that time and quality of training was top notch. Off course i didn´t realize that back then…
Long story short, all clubs i went to just do warmup and then play. No multiball, nothing. I have a training buddy and access to a table 24/7, we are able to squeeze 2-3 extra sessions in per week besides the 2 sessions at the club we play. We do exercises, but it´s not really structured. Iam at 1282TTR now after 2 game weekends, very low leage though and all wins so far. My buddy is also around that skill level. I feel multiball training would be best for us, plus exercises. I guess we´re really lacking a coach that watches us play from the outside and then tell us what to work on now! Is it possible to send a short clip of us playing and get advice on what to work on from you guys?
Cheers
Hey Andreas, great to hear you are getting back to table tennis and it’s never to late to improve your game and reach a good level! It will definitely help doing the extra sessions with your buddy for sure. Multi ball is very helpful too but even doing consistency and serve and return drills you will see a difference.
Yes that’s no problem. send us in a short clip here and we’ll be happy to give you guys feedback and some tips on what to work on to help you improve! Dan 🙂
Sweet, will do a vid asap. Anything specific or just us playing a match, don´t worry i´ll cut it to just the playing.
I think just playing a match is great because it’s most natural and i can see you good and bad habits most easily from that and get a good idea of what will help you most 🙂
ok
