Just starting Table Tennis, and I am fresh. I have been watching TTD all this weekend, and being a hands-on learner, I have picked up some of the tendencies of hitting, returning, and serving. Otherwise, I am a blank canvas. Where should I start?

Hey Derek! Great to hear you’ve been watching TTD, so I think the most important things when starting out are getting good basics and mastering control and consistency. So forehand and backhand drives and trying to get the correct technique on each side and just build the consistency with that. Then also some side to side footwork when you are comfortable with the drives. It’s also good to be comfortable with backhand and forehand push early on because you’ll use that a lot as you get into games.

If you go to the beginner videos filter in the video section these will give you a lot of videos to help you get going and get good basics! Let us know if you have any other questions or need help etc.
