match-play
Hey guys, I have been playing table tennis for 2 years now. I’ve always had this problem of me being too aggressive when I feel pressure. I rush things and lose easy points because of me breaking down under pressure. I’ve played tons of matches and I cant deal with the pressure. Once I start missing shots it just gets worse for me. How can I cope with me being under pressure? Thanks
Hey Hamza, I think this takes time and experience in matches for sure, but it’s good you realise it’s happening, so the next time you are in this situation try to focus on the tactic or shot that has been winning you points in the match. try no to focus on the result or the winning and losing. Be sure to take your time and take a deep breath before the point and really try to play to your strengths, to not play to hard and fast I always focus on getting good spin and safety over the net!
