I used my coach’s paddle for a minute. He has Nittaku FastArc G1 on his fh. WOW, it is a rocket!!! I was blown away how the ball flew off the rubber. I have never had a ball fly off a paddle like that. Is Nittaku G1 one of the fastest rubbers out there? I’d be afraid to try anything faster. 🙂

Hey Nicolaas, it’s certainly not the fastest rubber around but it is fairly quick, it might have been the combination with the blade he had it on that made it feel very fast! It’s more important to have good control and spin and then only go to something faster as you feel you need more power and all the basics are very solid 🙂

Thanks Dan! Yes, I wish I saw which blade he is using. That definitely could have been a factor. Great advice about having control and spin!
