Hi Mithun100,

Ok so I’m not sure if this could be an overuse injury or other type of injury that was already there. However sometimes when you change your shoes it can cause pain in the feet or ankles because your body hasn’t adjusted to them yet. I would say be careful and make sure you get it checked out by somebody like a physio if it continues.

One exercise that is brilliant to use on the bottom of your feet is to get a tennis ball or hard cricket ball and put it under your foot and roll across it,this can massage the foot and relieve tension.

Hope that’s helpful.

Hi Tom,
Usually I did not have this pain with the new TT shoes but when I play for longer hours it pains. Usually the TT shoes does not comes with good cushion like running and other sports shoes. Do you recommend putting cushion sole inside the soles or yourself prefers  no cushion TT shoes.

Thanks,
Mithun

I personally don’t use any cushioning or insole inside the shoes but it may help you. I would try going back to the old shoes you had and see if the pain continues.
