Hi,
I get confused when I get a half long push after playing a drop shot because it is difficult to keep a little out ball short. What should I do to this ball? I find it difficult to flick it from my backhand at times.
Thanks

Hey Sweetiele,

Ok with this kind of ball you are right to try and flick it, or even a short topspin shot is sometimes easier if you wait for the ball to come off the table. Perhaps it just requires a bit more practice at this shot, if you are really finding it hard still you can push this ball back. If you can make it an aggressive push with a good direction then even better!
