Hi so generally on a Long Side Spin serve usually what i play here in Is a slow spinny topspin and the same Is mostly on a Long Side underspin serve my question is on These Kind of Serves should i Sometimes learn to Play immediately strong Topspin Attacks in against these Serves of It will be always fine to Play a slow spinny Attack in. And the Same to short Side Spin and Side underspin Serves is It Just Always fine to Play First a slow spinny flick in or its better to Sometimes against these Serves Play in a flick with much Power and Speed. And also maybe should i Sometimes Push the Side underspin serve or really i should only try to Play a slow spinny Attack in or as i sad maybe playing sometimes a ball in with full Power there ?

Hey Gabriel, so variety in table tennis is key so for sure it’s sometimes good to play a stronger attack or flick straight away against these serves and it’s easier to do this against sidespin rather than backspin. The same goes with pushing so it’s good to mix it up, if you play the same shot all the time the opponents will get used to it and can prepare for it. So yes definitely mix it up and when you are confident play the stronger attack sometimes, if you are tense or the player is struggling more with the slower spin then these can be very useful. Dan 🙂
