Gabriel Kozakevych asked 3 weeks ago

Hi so i feel If i Play in a slow spinny forhand or Backhand topspin its mostly Not very effective in my Situation. So my question would be as i am doing a slow spinny topspin with the backhand First i am using my underarm and than the wrist comes with and also the movement should be Most Forward and only a very Bit upwards because if i go save with more upward traictory my opponent Smash the Balls in and i am in Trouble so i Always should Play in spinny topspins that are lower with Most Forward Motion and also in the forhand the Same ?

Yes when playing slow and spinny shots there is a couple of things that are important. Making sure that the ball doesn’t land too short in the table because this will be easy to counter attack and also brushing forwards and not too much up, this will help avoid the ball going to high and for an easy counter attack. So try to land you slower spin shots deeper in the table, this will make the quality much higher!
