when-i-receive-good-top-spin-serves-to-my-forehand-long-i-feel-compelled-to-loop
I forehand loop again heavy top spin long serves to my forehand, I tend to loop into the backhand and the ball always seems to go long against quality servers
I think this is quite a common problem, it can be hard to spot the spin quick enough and then he ball flies long off the end! I think the best way to improve this is getting players to serve to you and vary the spin between topspin and backspin and trying to read it early and play a topspin with a more closed bat on the topspin ones.
I found another good tip is to make sure when you are returning serve you don’t stand your bat to low, many players even stand ready to return with their bat below the table which will make you loop more often. Mostly it’s just getting experience at reading the spin and being able to brush the ball well but in a bit more forward action but not to much up the back of the ball.
